today's FP favourite is Conduit with a whopping 21 backers (ladbrokes were giving 4-6 eariler, now it's 8-13). Should be a sure thing with 87% of GG.com's tipzone tipsters supporting it too.
RESULT: 1st @ 1-2

There's also strong support for Infallible with 13 backers (9-1 now 7-1), so we'll see how that one does as well.
RESULT: 5th @ 5-4


that means 7 out of 7 "most backed" horses have won or placed so far, and 7/8 of the "highly backed" horses have won or placed (i.e. if we include infallible, who came 5th but wasn't the most backed).

(granted, the majority of the "most backed" horses are favourites, as you'd expect, but the occasional gem like yesterday's Linda Green make the stats worth listening to)

Well, today's most backed is Yeats. Which again is not a big surprise, with its last seven runs bagging 1st place(!)
RESULT: 1st @ 8-15

Second most backed is Mad Rush, who also has a good form record.

8 out of 10 highly backed (most backed and some of the second-most backed) have won or placed.

Let's hope Ursus restores our winning streak today! 6 backers.
